You are God. Yes You're God. We We're Made for You.

Some of these pictures are from the first trip to Fl. One's with me in jackets. One's with my momma and the castle.

I went to a beach called Anna Maria Island and OMG, the water was soooo clear. I am glad though because I almost stepped on a crab and if the water wasn't clear I definitely would've got bit, or clamped or whatever it is that they do. But it definitely should be on every one's list to do for vacation. I've never seen something so beautiful. I could see my feet when I was in the freezing cold water up to my neck. It was so gorgeous.

So as most of you know, Cj and Micki are moving in May. Instead of July, like I was planning. I am trying not to worry because I know that if I am supposed to be here, God will make a way and a place for me to live at least until the internship and I can move in with one of the home-openers. Just be praying that if God wants me home that he will make it so obvious that I won't be able to stay. Some would even say that he has done that, but I am trying to stay positive and think that God is just testing my faith in him.

I got a job! I work at a place called Gem Cleaners. Its a dry cleaners. I am a cashier, its nothing like I expected for a job when I got here. I work 7-2 Monday-Thurs. and then 9-2 on Saturday. I stand the entire time and my legs feel like they are going to fall off at the end of the day. And this is how I got this Awesome God sent Job.

So, I woke up at 7a.m. on Monday and I did a little devotion and then I got ready. This was the first day of my fast, Basically fasting my sleep. So I get ready and I am driving to go apply at banks and Progressive, office jobs. Well, I was driving down one of the main streets and I started thinking about a story that Pastor Greg was talking about on Sunday and it had to do with the Lady that owned this dry cleaners. Keisha had told me to go apply there because she supported the church and since I was doing the internship, she might give me a shot. So I couldn't get that out of my head, I stopped by the cleaners first and talked to Neddy. I told her that I needed a job from now until the internship in the fall, and she said, "Of course I can use you!" Right on the spot. And she was telling me about how they take everything to the Lord in prayer and she needed to pray about a couple of things but she knew that she was going to give me the job. She asked when I could start and I said ASAP and so she said to come in at 7 am the next morning.. Here I am the first day in the fast of sleep and I get a job that starts off at 7 am. AWESOME God!. LOL. She later told me that her and her husband had been praying about it and were waiting on someone to come in if they were supposed to hire another cashier. And there I was:). It is more than a blessing! She is an awesome woman of God, and I couldn't imagine a better person to work for. She told me that I'll be able to work during the internship and that I can take off in the summer to go back home to Texas if I needed to. The perfect job that is surrounded by God. Perfect working enviroment. Thank you God!

Cj is going to Australia on Saturday, Keisha is going to ARK conference on Sunday, and Micki is going out of town next Thursday.... God watch out for all of them. There travels are under your palm. Keep whoever is driving, flying, or getting them wherever, alert and awake.

Looking forward to what's ahead. A vacation to Texas is in my plans very soon. I am looking forward to more trips to the beach and Disney.

Keisha Leigh Crowell is like the sister I never had. She is awesome and I hope the start of a beautiful Friendship. I love her very much and can't wait for what God has for her. :)

week 2! here we go.

Here we are in week 2 of this life changing experience and I have learned so much, just about life.
I learned how to put a bed frame together.
I learned how to cook a home cooked meal without being at home (definitely not the same).
I learned that no matter where I am in this world my family and friends back home will always want to know how I am doing.
I am learning how to make friends.
I am learning how it is like to be turned down from jobs.
I am learning that God doesn't have to show up just cause you are singing worship songs.
I am learning that in this world, more people believe that Jesus lived and died but didn't rise again.
I am learning that being a girl it is more dangerous for me to be by myself in this big city.
I am learning everyday that my heart will long for different and new things everyday.
I am learning that to be a good person, I will have to actually have to try and not be a bad person.
I am learning that home is always where my heart will be.

Learning new things can be exciting, stressful, beautiful, amazing, hurtful, and if you let it, more than you want to learn. But that's the beauty of it all, I want to be broken for new (good) things to be brought in my life. I am willing to be on my face for new things to come into my life. I thought I was desperate. I thought I was hungry for what I want. But I am just not showing my heart like I need to be. I am not doing enough to show God that, this, this is really what I want.

I would rather be the poorest, hungriest, most desperate girl on this earth and be filled with his presence everyday, than to be the most wealthy, most beautiful, most care free and have what a everyday Christian has. I don't want to settle for ordinary anymore. I want to be set-apart from what we call ourselves. I want to be the girl that sets an example.

I was born a leader. I was never, nor will I ever be, a follower.
"I will lead my generation to the promise land."

Life in FL

I just recently moved to Brandon, FL. I am currently living with Cj and Micki Frazier. Yes, that's right the one's that will soon be leaving and going back to TX. I am living with them over the summer time and trying to figure what I want. A lot of people were confused when they found out that I was still going, after hearing the news that Cj and Micki were coming back. Well, I can't base my life on someone else's. I felt that it was God's timing to move to Fl. So, here I am.

I love it so far. The people are great and I've never had so much available to me at once. I live in a town with a Super Target and a Chick fil a. Before, I lived 10 miles from the closest grocery store. Its definitely different. Everything being at the tips of my fingers. Now living in a town with 5 different Starbucks, a mall, a beach 20 min away, Disney an hour away, and a bunch of everything else. I am meeting new friends and so excited to get to know everyone else.

Ok, lets recap since I've been here. Festival on Tuesday night, I attempted to eat the biggest chili cheese fries batch I've ever seen. Had the BEST strawberry short cake, and Threw all of it up on the One and only ride of the night. Wednesday ate some of the thickest pizza i've ever seen. Thursday had the best waffle from The Waffle House. Friday went to the dirt track in Ocala and watched Devin get 3rd place despite the circumstances. First time I've actually enjoyed racing. Saturday went to the mall and the grocery store and almost ran into a lady and hit her basket. Oh yeah, and I joined a 24 hour gym :). and Today I worked out and went to 1 and half church services. If one week looks like this how is 2 and a half years going to look?

I love life here, its everything I expected and more. I just wish I didn't have to miss everyone back home. My mom and dad. My brothers and bestfriends. My second families. Every little kid that I ever spent time with. All the girls at work. Everyone. Aunts Uncles Cousins Grandmas Grandpas. It was hard and it continues to be hard, but thanks to everyone for supporting me in this experience of my life. :)

Pictures will be up soon<3
